Aquilegia vulgaris 'William Guinness', Columbine


This cultivar arose at the Guinness estate in Ireland, next to Daphne Shackleton's garden, who gave its seed to the National Plant Collection of Aquilegia.
Dramatic, for late spring to early summer borders.
Aquilegias are hardy perennial plants that tend to be short-lived. They self-seed readily, though.
Height: 75 cm.
