Widely used perennial herb with small aromatic leaves.
The flavourful leaves are used to flavour sauces, stews, meats, soups, marinades etc. The leaves can be used both fresh and dried.
Thyme produces small pink or white flowers from early summer that are loved by bees.
Native to southern Europe.
