Radicchio 'Variegato di Castelfranco'
Old Italian leaf vegetable with crisp, red-variegated, pale green leaves with a good sharp flavour. In the autumn, loose red-variegated, white inner heads are produced.
The leaves are excellent for salads, soups and risottos. The inner heads are delicious grilled or roasted.
