Attractive subshrub with aromatic, strongly flavoured leaves.
The leaves of hyssop can be used to flavour meat dishes, teas and liqueurs.
This variety produces numerous showy spikes of pink flowers from June to August. The flowers are loved by bees.
Hyssop has been used in herbal medicine for thousands of years.
Native to Southern Europe.
