Allium ursinum, Ramsons


A bulbous perennial herb with elliptic, garlic-tasting leaves.
From late spring to early summer, this plant produces umbels of garlic-scented, star-shaped, white flowers on erect stems.
Leaves are harvested from late winter to late spring. They can be used in salads, soups, stir-fries or as a garnish. The flowers are also edible.
Height: 40 cm.
