Lavandula multifida, Fernleaf Lavender


Very aromatic lavender species with ferny, oregano-scented foliage.
It produces showy spikes of violet-blue flowers atop long slender stems.
The flowers can be cut for fresh bouquets or be dried for use in potpourris.
Fernleaf lavender is a tender, bushy shrub that is grown as an annual bedding or container plant here in northern Europe. It flowers quickly from seed.
Native to the Mediterranean area.
