Origanum vulgare hirtum, Greek Oregano


Popular perennial herb with aromatic leaves that are more flavourful than those of common oregano.
Fresh or dried leaves can be used to flavour pizza, tomato sauces, omelettes, soups, stews etc.
In summer greek oregano produces beautiful clusters of small pure white flowers that attract bees and other beneficial insects.
Native to the Mediterranean area.
Height: 45 cm.
