Satureja montana, Winter Savory


A compact-growing sub-shrub with very flavourful leaves and small white flowers that are loved by bees.
Winter savory can be used in cooking in the same way as summer savory. Fresh chopped leaves can be used to flavour omelettes, soups, salad dressings, bean dishes etc.
Native to southern Europe.
