Ground covering thyme species with aromatic, oval leaves.
The flavourful leaves are used much in the same way as common thyme in cooking.
Creeping thyme produces small pale purple flowers from early summer that are loved by bees.
This evergreen sub-shrub is native to central and southern Europe.
